Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) in Guruvayur & Thrissur
Buying a new car? Don’t skip your PDI! A new car can pick up damage in transport or sit in a dealer yard for months. We inspect it before you take delivery, so problems are fixed by the showroom first.
What we check
Exterior
Panel gaps, glass, tyre tread depth, dents, paint issues, rust and any other damage.
Interior
AC, controls and switches, lights, instrument cluster and warning lights, steering wheel, upholstery and seats.
Under the bonnet
Signs of impact or repaint, coolant, power steering fluid, washer water and automatic transmission fluid, leaks and engine noise.
Battery
12V battery voltage, voltage drop while starting, manufacturing date, leaks and the warranty card.
Scan and test drive
OBD scan for fault codes, plus a test drive.
Tools we use
Paint thickness gauge, OBD scanner, tyre tread gauge, multimeter and an endoscope camera to see hidden leaks and rust. You receive a detailed report with photos. We also inspect used cars before you buy them.
Why it matters
On one new Tata Curvv EV, our PDI found airbag damage, many OBD errors, rust and small dents that a buyer can’t normally see. The dealer fixed them, and the customer took delivery after that.
